For the record. Empower does not block bypasses from Abilityās besides itself. So while a second CW canāt have an empowered Butler Occupys an Empowered sheriff. A Drunk CAN Occupy an empowered sheriff like normal with HH.
Okay, so letās just assume you want to empower butler. What are you accomplishing? The only occ immune classes to be really concerned with are possessor, sorc, and mastermind. And occupying any of these delays their action, which is nice. You could also occupy a Hunter using bear. Or prince about to execute. Youāre giving the butler a free happy hour. Everyone else youāre just making occ immune which current barrier already does.
So I have to ask again: how is this āmore funā than magic barrier? It forces you to combo with bd offensive and investigative roles, and if they donāt claim to you, there is no combo it be had. Along with that, the Court wizard gets no feedback and relies on his target making correct decisions for his ability to be effective. None of this adds up to a fun ability.
First of all for Butler. It has the additional advantage of bypassing OCC Immunity given through 3 Occupys. Giving Occupy Immunity to someone is good in of itself.
The extra versitility from immunity bypass and decoupling it from conversion blocking is what makes it more fun.
No, youāre just giving them occupy immunity. Like the normal court wizard.
That aspect of him was fine. The problem wasnāt power it was lack of decisions.

It isnāt. The decoupling of the alarmist power and his other Abilityās frees him up to do other things and the extra versitility of Empower and weaken makes those choises more varied in effect and result.
I think the best way to describe its problems with being an infinite ability is you are giving out the enforcerās frenzy, infinitely.
Itās not nearly as strong as frenzy at what it does. It doesnāt bypass Prevention, Healing or Defend and it can be bypassed.
I could be incorrect on this, but I donāt believe frenzy bypasses knight guard. Either way, youāre still giving out an ability that functions similar to frenzy. Youāre bypassing immunities.
