PKR was silent while being killed, most people didn’t even know how to enter the Lab, and they could’ve escaped much more easily without doing so.

By luring people downstairs with smoke bomb in place, they could just murder one person and leave the other person as a suspect, thus creating a target for blaming.

I suppose it’s possible that, when you entered the Lab during the smokescreen, that they snuck out using it as a distraction?
