Just to make sure, did anyone besides Marshal or Alice take a blanket for any reason? Sounds like Light just shredded them, but didn’t take one.
1 GG and Appel were already there when I arrived. So they could have taken the blanket or there were no blankets in the first place.
2 is impossible. If a Skeleton Key had been used by me then it’d be in my inventory or around the crime scene.
3 is eh.
4 would require both blankets to be at the scene of the crime. Again, if I killed Zone and used something to avoid getting prints on the blanket then it would have to be dropped at the scene of the crime. Since there were no further evidence there such as gloves or other pieces of fabric then I have never even touched the blanket.

Where is this “blanket red herring” assumption coming from. It’s not a red herring.
it was used to drag and lift the body. That’s a muder accessory.
It’s why Marshal is insisting on this multiple blanket theory that does not check out. He thunderdomed me and went as far as claiming that I openwolfed in whispers. He absolutely can’t back out now after Eli green checked me which is why he is making all of these crackpot theories.

Evidence cannot be disposed of unless it’s in your inventory, your room, or a room adjecent to the scene of the crime.

Ahhh okay, so that’s the game mechanic. So the blanket in the guardhouse also couldn’t be one used to wrap the other blanket at all.
Again, I’ve been able to repeatedly drag Amelia by hand. If I killed Zone there was no need for me to drag him. Instead it makes more sense for Marshal to use the blanket being that he’s not exactly in top shape.
