If that’s so, then GGhana is confirmed not MM.

If we don’t see any motive introduced in future chapters, then there is a good chance that the MM PoE is in Appel/GGhana as the motives disappeared when those two were murdered.
Still maybe the MM is still alive and is hiding in the shadows by not adding motives.
So that we think the MM is in Appel/GGhana and fool us that way.

I’m pretty sure Datbird said he was protecting you by killing Appel and GGhana as one of those two was trying to murder you.
