I wouldn’t kill immediately – I would wait out until more people would be dead, then plan the murder.
Taking care of evidence effectively is problematic, going right in without any plan beforehead is pretty suicidal I’d say.
Also Alice, how would you handle double murders?
Say I conscript Napoleon to kill Kat with me, he agrees to it – we track Kat down and I hold him down while Napoleon stabs him.
Who is the Blackened here? Me, because it was my proposition? Napoleon, because he dealt the killing blow? Both?
If both – how are you going to resolve the trial? Because if we both are the killers, executing one is still wrong – the second Blackened gets to walk off free, therefore the trail would be failed?
Or are you going to employ the original rule in the game and go with “two people may kill, but only one Blackened will win”?
Iirc this wasn’t mentioned in the OP.
Strat: do a mass murder Chapter 1 so that almost every surviving person is blackened, then vote out someone who doesn’t have a confirmed kill.
The person who dealt the killing blow will become the blackened.
I don’t think it’s possible to be at the same time.

In the case of two different Blackeneds for two victims the Blackened to be found can be either player.

Anstreim fights katze and slays them.
Then Anstreim, from the fight, is wounded and dies later?
I’m pretty sure that I’m still the killer.
Therefore if they don’t determine that I murdered Kat, the trial is failed.
