What happens if the Mastermind dies in a Class Trial or is just murdered by another player?

The MM canā€™t die in a Class Trial as they cannot become the Blackened.

If they are murdered, then the game ends after the trial and the remainign spotless wins.

However the Mastermind has several defenses against being murdered.

Yeah, I made it so too many wrong trials donā€™t end up killing players that fast.

I modified here as players arenā€™t guaranteed to always catch the Blackened.

If this followed original series to the letter, getting one trial wrong would instakill everyone but the Blackened.
But yeah, I think it was more or less described in the OP. Thereā€™s an amount of trials that you can get wrong and people donā€™t get killed as fast.

Also with Simonā€™s passive it would be so goddamn easy to stage a murder at night.
Go to the gym, lure someone in, murder them there ā€“ the court now suspects everyone who was in the gym during the day.
The only issue is, well, succeeding on the kill itself.
Else you are just outed.
