I am pretty much caught up now. Still fighting the format a bit. Off the bat I feel like Chloe is walking into this game with an agenda. Their chainsaw for Luk was of note and they seem to have a real focus on who has ‘control’ over the town which is something I do when I am wolfing.

@TheLukundo On an OOG note I am sorry for yesterday. I had a last minute date and got a bit drunk so my judgement was off. Not game related but I have a personal dislike for some kinda intellectual bullying and I can only say I very genuinely had no intention of messing with you like that. I do still scum read you but nothing to do with this game I want to apologize for the way I am assuming I made you feel in that situation. I can only say it was not intentional and I am sorry.

While I still have daylight I do have to cut up a tree god decided to smite in my back yard and I foolishly put like 800 lbs of concrete into a trash can which the city refused to pick up. Never thought I would need to spend a day repacking trash cans but w/e. Will deal with all that after I get some forward motion on this game so if I disappear for a few hours real life happens.

So I am in the awkward position of being confident you are town while you scum read me. I hold the opinion that all town has to do to be sorted is to explain themselves so feel free to ask me whatever you need that allows you to read me.

I do think you should be careful with Chloe. They seem to be walking into the thread with the intention of buddying you and pushing your thoughts with an agenda. Before their replacement their slot was pretty scummy and now I feel like there is potential we have a power wolf to deal with.

I townleaned Erika before she got replaced, because although I don’t think her case on Merc was entirely correct, I think it came from a town mindset, and I gave reasoning earlier on specifically which part I thought was unlikely to come from a wolf. I townlean Chloe not because she’s buddying up to me (although she does that in pretty much every game and she’s always been town in games with me) but because I’m not seeing agenda from her as she’s catching up on the thread. I’m not going to towncore her yet, but I have good vibes from her thus far. She’s capable of powerwolfing, but I don’t think she’s doing that here. Especially with replacing into Erika’s slot, I think she’d hold off on powerwolfing immediately since Erika was pretty widely scumread at that point - I didn’t backread every single post, but I skimmed and I think that was the consensus, right?

I find it kinda interesting the timing of this push on me happened immediately after I pushed Luk and called attention to the slots of Wisdom, Derps, and Erika. A part of me feels like when I meet resistance I am going in the right direction so for what thats worth I think people should look at my situation and consider these players. I pretty much never get misslynched so I do not think my flip will confirm these words for you but I very much think those players need more attention.

idk how the timing worked out. I wrote my case on you during the night phase and pastedumped it here as soon as the thread opened, because the thread got closed before I woke up presumably because of toxicity. So I’m pushing you as of directly after the EoD2 wagons.

Oh I think your push on me is genuine and not due to Chloe. I will have to consider what you said about them. I might have some reactional bias to them pushing against a bunch of my scum leans while also pushing on me. I read them as a competent player and the way they are reading me bothers me. Grabbing those 2 pushes I made to break RVS and calling them plastic after I have very openly voiced they were contrived felt opportunistic to me.

I think Chloe brought up some of the same points I saw from Lukundo and maybe someone else on D1 against you, though. And Wisdom may have said the same as well, and I refuse to believe that 3 wolves would coordinate so well that they’d just echo each other in the thread and risk outing themselves all by association, so it’s highly unlike that’s a scumteam. And right now I at least townlean all of them, despite previously thinking Luk was scummy for a while and that Wisdom was a hard null for coming in guns blazing and going against what seemed to be the consensus.

I mean I think wolves are satisified with the status quo, considering how the wagons have been turning out, and I don’t think there’s any real incentive for a wolf to shake up the core and move against the consensus right now like what Luk, Chloe, Wisdom and I are kind of doing (which I suppose makes things no longer consensus, doesn’t it)

Could you clarify why you town read Luk? I am somewhat unable to get past the fact they waited for the clock to run down before blitzing on Wiisp EOD1. There is nothing towny about that imo and they all but confirmed they very intentionally waited for the clock to run down by not denying it in my interactions with them.

Yep, I clarified it in my post when the thread unlocked and I clarified it again when Guillo asked me to. I also clarified it to Kaif in our chat.

From my overnight post that I pasted when I entered the thread toDay:

I just remembered that Lukundo was the first to claim Town Child on D1, when he thought Marl was suspicious for claiming “basically IC” and said he didn’t think both innocent child and “child” could exist in the same game as roles. I realize now that it makes him far more likely to be town because there’s no way a wolf would see their role as “Mafia Child” and reach the conclusion that a town IC couldn’t exist. Townlocking him and not tinfoiling. It also makes it more likely that Helz and Guillo are wolves pushing back on Luk and trying to discredit his reads (tell me if I’m misremembering who was pushing whom).

Guillo called it a “derpclear”; I don’t really know if it counts as a derpclear but it’s something I don’t see mafia coming up with.

To your earlier point of me pushing you and Silviu to get the town organized I do feel the town needs direction. I do not think I am widely town read enough to do it myself and I feel like overall this could be very beneficial for the town. I intentionally avoided providing a read on you for some time simply because I did not want to push you farther into a night kill target.

I also kind of think the CFD to Wiisp was more likely town motivated because both PKR and Kaif have flipped town anyway. That’s what I suspected after PKR’s flip, and we have proof now. Scum would’ve been absolutely fine without a CFD.

see, the only people who weren’t townreading me by EoD yesterday were Derps (who was pushing me), Wisdom (who moved me up to a null), Tilga (who was reading me off paranoia), and Proph (who also had me at a null as i recall).

I’m looking far ahead and what I saw last night was that I was being encouraged by scum to push my towny but bad reads, and they likely planned to tinfoil me close to LyLo for still having wrong reads and also still being alive. It’s not the first time that’s happened, and it won’t be the last, but I’d rather be loud, correct, and night killed than loud, incorrect, and lose us the game in LyLo.

also, Helz, you are 100% on my scumread list for still pushing Luk over that CFD to Wiisp when you should be fully well aware that both of the other D1 wagons flipped town.

Tip for next time: if you’re going to kill the other D1 wagon, don’t push someone over starting a CFD against two town wagons.
