I also think Wiisp suspected the code numbers (flavors) were related to role, and that’s likely why he fakeclaimed his number, as I see no other reason unless it ties in with his fakeclaim as babysitter.
I assume so too, but if PRs can’t be synced, his role works as a vanilla cop that gives additional information if his target is vanilla. Meaning he can use it to PR hunt among the people who haven’t openly claimed their roles, and if that’s true, I suspect the way he’s been using it (checking Aelin, Min and Kaif, who did not claim PRs) is a wolfy way of using it instead of checking to confirm if a claimed PR is really a PR (like how Nikamara could not sync with Lemon, and she claimed PR, so likely Helz would not have gotten a result from her).
If Helz is scum it indicates that Nikamara has a town claim because Helz didn’t question her role as a backup enough to check her at night. Meaning her claim is believable to the wolves.

A wolf benefits cop would have no reason to check town PR claims. They’d likely believe them, they know who the masons are, and they know who their fellow wolves are. They would check town vanillas specifically to know what they’re up against.
I fully believe he could be exactly what he claims but I do not fully believe he used it in a towny way.

(I assume you’re also saying those may not be the players he checked, but if he checked someone who openly claimed, like Nikamara, it would’ve been to his benefit to out that even as a wolf, unless he’s trying to avoid clearing a townie by avoiding it.)

so tbh min is the only possible WIFOM he could be doing, and min openly claimed a neighborhood chat, so we know already that min would give results to a benefits cop.
