So I am a benefits cop. I guess people are hell bent on lynching me on a day when I can’t play to defend myself and I unfortunately don’t have my notes to give my results but I have checked Kaif, Aelin and Min so far. They all had a bunch of stuff they could become which is why I assumed I could be the only PR and Wiisps PR claim factored into my pushing for their lynch yesterday.
I don’t have my notes to dump the results but I can say none of these players slipped and claimed something untrue so far. If I could dump those notes these words would probably make more sense.

What does a benefits cop do, check vanilla roles to see whether they’re capable of gaining abilities when synced?

I ask specifically because Nikamara and Lemonfairy had a failed sync attempt by the masons, and Nikamara claimed a PR, so I assume that means PRs can’t be synced. This is why I told Silviu not to out the syncs unless the neighbors themselves chose to.

I also think Wiisp suspected the code numbers (flavors) were related to role, and that’s likely why he fakeclaimed his number, as I see no other reason unless it ties in with his fakeclaim as babysitter.

I assume so too, but if PRs can’t be synced, his role works as a vanilla cop that gives additional information if his target is vanilla. Meaning he can use it to PR hunt among the people who haven’t openly claimed their roles, and if that’s true, I suspect the way he’s been using it (checking Aelin, Min and Kaif, who did not claim PRs) is a wolfy way of using it instead of checking to confirm if a claimed PR is really a PR (like how Nikamara could not sync with Lemon, and she claimed PR, so likely Helz would not have gotten a result from her).

If Helz is scum it indicates that Nikamara has a town claim because Helz didn’t question her role as a backup enough to check her at night. Meaning her claim is believable to the wolves.

A wolf benefits cop would have no reason to check town PR claims. They’d likely believe them, they know who the masons are, and they know who their fellow wolves are. They would check town vanillas specifically to know what they’re up against.

Ok, do you think there’s a chance there’s a wolf in the list of players he checked? (I assume you’re also saying those may not be the players he checked, but if he checked someone who openly claimed, like Nikamara, it would’ve been to his benefit to out that even as a wolf, unless he’s trying to avoid clearing a townie by avoiding it.)

so tbh min is the only possible WIFOM he could be doing, and min openly claimed a neighborhood chat, so we know already that min would give results to a benefits cop.

if Helz flips town, Guillo’s slot looks good because I don’t think a wolf would want to strongly TR a town PR.

conclusion is that Helz and Guillo are very likely aligned.

That’s a complicated question. Both because I feel like players have to be independently evaluated based on their slots while also Chloe looked less scummy to me because they made their slot look better with their play.
