Death City - (18/19) - Sign-up Stage

Changed it. I didn’t really think that it would be that impactful since most players should have won and/or died by then, but it’s now better.

Chapters end after some time elapses and as soon as they end the next one begins. It’s basically how to segment this game since there’s no ambidex nor class trials.

Suprising this didn’t get like 50 in 2 seconds tbh

but I’m sure it’ll fill eventually, think ppl are worn out a bit from the danganing but I haven’t dangan’d since 3 so I’m hype!!!

Tbh I think these are better designed and more fun than DR, but it will probably pick up and fill fast after a bit

Yeah this format appeals to me much more than DR but it’s in a very similar vein

tbf i probably wouldnt join if it was a dr
it looks interesting but i dont have the mental capacity for it

/backup

looks interesting but listening to my brain/gut and not playing

If you join then I’ll post more pictures of my cat. Is that enough incentive?

Sup.
Here’s the map of Chapter 1.

Here are the locations:

Emmanuel Dormitories: Big building in the top left side of the map. Basically has the dorms and the trial rooms where you can start trials that will last 24 hours, and the accused cannot leave the trial until the verdict is given. To vote a player must be present in the trial hall.

Emmanuel Plaza: The plaza in front of the dormitories. Works similarly to the cafeteria in Danganronpa.

Emmanuel Annex: The small building besides the Emmanuel Dormitories.

Emmanuel Stairway: A large set of stairs right below the Emmanuel Plaza.

Emmanuel Watchtower: The tower E of the plaza.

Moringtal Pedestrian Street: The lower-leftmost place on the map.

Centennial Library: Large building close to the pedestrian street.

Fairway Railnet: Right NE of the Library.

Sheridan Bridge: Bridge N of the Railnet.

Sewage Treatment Plant: Leftmost building on the eastern section of the map.

Red Dragon Diner: Red building on the NE of the map.

Camille Park: Green area in the E.

Glory Plaza: Bottom right of the map. Where you may find the Gates of Glory.

13 places, but this is basically only CH1.

The game should take like 7ish chapters unless people drop like flies or y’all derp and a 8BM appears fast.

Hmm, I’m kind of interested in joining if this is somewhat different than DR. I’ve felt like my time zone / schedule puts me at a disadvantage in DR since I’m not really available when most other players and hosts are. So hard to get involved with the conversation and solving as much.

But I get the impression this game doesn’t involve as much solving since no Mastermind? Is this more combat/action oriented? Is there still a lot of involvement with submitting actions and waiting for feedback before continuing?

It’s less solving and more trying to make out to your own wincon.

So there really isn’t any issues such as timezones making it harder to solve the game as you can technically play on your own scheduling.

Like, if you roll a good class that needs to collect 2 relics and escape to win, you can technically just do this whenever you want. If you roll an evil class that needs to kill 2 good aligned players to win, same thing as you don’t need to kill them a specific time.

Plus, as anyone who played my games can attest my circadian rhythm is fairly chaotic so different timezones shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

Ahhh, that does sound like it would work out better for me. I’ll give it a try.
