And sure, this word really is not an issue in a lot of other places around the world

But Americans make up a VERY sizable proportion of every FM site I’ve seen demographics for

So it’s at least a reasonable idea to assume that some people might be uncomfortable with the idea

And, it’s a game, we’re here to have fun, why not help widen the appeal

You could argue that ‘Mafia’ could trigger certain people, the idea of people being shot/stabbed/burned in a fire etc.

While I agree, the request is easily accommodated, it does feel very as, Orange put it, “Virtue signalling” with an eye on current events.
