Dispirited Hallows {Main Thread}

“Luminous Grant, Telias’ Soul! Luminous Eternale!”
The medal she holds levitates in the air, glowing.
A bridge forms over the river.

“H-H-How did you do that?!”

“Y-Yeah! Are-Are you a fairy?”

She stays silent, choosing to cross the bridge.

Everyone here soon finds themselves put down, on a plain near a wooden hut.

She walks forward, and knocks on the hut doors.

A brightly green haired lady opens the door, her red eyes inspecting the people outside.

“Oh? Cherri?”

Despite her cool demeanour from the previous things she said, Cherria flies off into an immediate temper…

“Cherria! How hard is it for you to add an ‘Ah’ at the back?!”
“This…?”
“Ah. Belfry’s village children. One of them is your sister’s child.”

“And…?”
“He’s dead. Rasha’s gone and lost it.”

“He would. Inconvenient that Belfry would prove right after all.” The green haired lady looks blankly on.

“Oy! Don’t be so pessi!” Cherria exclaims.

“Don’t you have your commanding duties back in Telias?”

“Oh it doesn’t matter Telias is going to hell either way from internal strife. I wish you were still with us!”

“…”

The green haired lady walks to the little children.
“…”
She stares at all of the children.
“A seer? How did he-…”

“Um, miss? What are you talking about?”
Andrei looks confused with his head tilted to his side

“So… you’re the best tutor I know, so… heheh…?”

“…”
Cherria in a blue dress seems to be asling a favor of the modest green haired lady in woolen clothing.

Annie is hiding behind Andrei, scared

He offers Annie to lean on him or behind him as his visible confusion continues

“Yuna! C’mon!”

“Yes… Belfry’s trust in me shall be repaid. Now get off my back.”

The green haired witch, only one exists. Yuna Itsucha. The one who bewitched the prince Rasha into a lust for power and greed.

[ sword hand intensifies

“E-Excuse me, miss? Who are you and what’s a seer?”

[ damn I wish I was allowed to make a joke here but I can’t

Annie is scared, she’s wrapped around her brother tight

She pauses, before looking into his eyes.
“It’s something you have, and its something you have to accept.”
She gently smiles, patting the young boy.
“You can leave them in my hands.”

“T-That didn’t really answer my question, ma’am. I-I mean, what do I have that must be accepted?”
He tries to stop himself from shaking as he knows his sister is holding onto him

She starts shaking, she lets out a sniffle and quickly tries to cover it up

“Well… she’s not too good at conversing. It’s something you will grow to hate in the future. She’ll tell you more about it. Hey… Yuna?” Cherria speaks.

“Cute…” Yuna pats the kid’s head.

“Oy! Have you lost your common sense? Ah jeez…” Cherria scratches her head.
The five unconscious kids are brought into the house. Leaving the two with Yuna.

“I’ll take you in, so don’t worry.”
“Ah. Yuna, I can’t have you being like that, I’ll stay as well.” Cherria emerges from the house. “Telias is pretty doomed with or without me anyway.”
