“Umm… guys… I know… I shouldn’t be saying this… but its kinda late already… we should go home.”
“Aww! Can’t we see the dolphin again?!”
“Yup! The parents may worry about us…”
K: Don’t worry, I’m a grown up, since i’m already a third adult.
K: I can stay out for longer.
“I-I’m too scared to go to sleep after what happened last night.”
Tressa raised her eyebrow again
“And it’s just a coincidence that we’re in same age…”
“Well! I’ll make a fire path on the way back! Follow the path okay guys?”
As you all know, her fire is but a weak flame, incapable of hurting anything…
Neither is it very bright…
K: Well, you’re a third adult,too!
K: I never said you weren’t qualified.
“Through the WOODS? Get your head in the game short stack, that’s not a good idea. Why don’t we just let the guard guide us back?”
…
“…He went, didn’t he?”
K: Maybe?
“You meanie! I know my way through just fine. I’ve stayed outside beyond my bedtime before!”
She smugly grins.
“Mmm? What guard?”
K: He might be invisible, though.
K: Anyway, I would stay here and wait for the water spirit to come back, but I’m gonna go back to my house and find more monsters to kill.*
“…you didn’t hear him?”
[ off: as a 8yo kid I had a laptop with the screen the size of my cellphone’s but I stayed until 3 AM using it. can confirm ]
“There was a big boring guard and then he must have gone somewhere.”
Gavin stretches his arms out, yawning, and almost poking Tressa in the eye as he does so.
“Now… that I have proven my point… hue hue.”
She sprints off in the direction the guard went, leaving little non consuming sparks on the tree leaves.
“Hey, be careful where you stretch.”
