Sword impaled Dat before Dat fell.
Dat fell, causing the blade to stir around in the wound, the fall brusing his back but the blade being through the middle making it bruise that section less. Would mess up the exit wound and also cause a large amount of blood to spill from his back.
(He was on his side when found. And blade was through him i he fell on his side the blade wouldn’t be through fully and/or it would be fairly damaged.)

(my current prediction is that we’re getting this trial wrong because of the fact multiple people barely investigated and multiple other people basically stopped trying once jane was like “i know who it is

this isnt really a callout because i kinda fell in the latter group)
(the marks in the corridor looked like they came from the sword but that’s not a 100% certainty call because i dont think anyone tried making similar ones)
(Yes me dragging it on the ground and hitting it against it made simular marks)

It doesn’t really make sense that DatBirb screamed about a holy blade when all of the marks are from a sword we know isn’t magical.
(fwiw i theorized a suicide earlier because i basically had no real suspects left)

fwiw i do have some doubts on TL but also that nerd has insanely low strength so it feels implausible they actually did it?)
(The problem is that I literally have no argument except legiterally the facts of 1) nobody saw me anywhere except for my room for like half a day before that, 2) I had no relationship with datbird whatsoever, 3) I’m really probably not strong enough regardless, 4) and I literally showed up to the bda 10 hours late but shrug)

(my argument for not being the blackened is that i genuinely like datbird too much to kill him this early
and also the fact that my alibi is somewhat confirmed because for me to have done the kill there’d be some crazy gymastics required
