((my murder plan was:
((slip a note under Marl’s and Mist’s door asking to meet at different times
((kill marl, and create a copy of them
((use self-injury to hide the blood
((locate the copy of them in the hospital ward, meet with mist there an hour later, then secure an airtight alibi until the crime scene is discovered, using ~2 minutes of time lagging behind Mist to dress the fake Marl in the bloody clothes and mask, give them murder weapon, and hide them in a curtain under the bed
((now I messed up Marl’s time of death, got myself an alibi, and the hospital ward is less likely to be investigated as it has seemingly no connection to Marl’s room

((there probably were some pretty large holes for me to patch up but that was the basic plan
