The execution for the Ultimate Highwaywoman, Stephanie Brown

Tensing up for their inevitable death, Stephanie Brown stood her ground as the Fates levitated before her. Then, suddenly, Monkeuma, Atropos, whatever you want to call him, dissapeared. The entire hall stood still for a minute. And right as Ms. Brown started to relax, thinking that maybe she had been spared death miraculously, that somehow the Ultimate Hunt’s bloodied hand had been stayed…

A car burst through the doors of the Senate, with Monkeuma looking out of the window, screaming incoherently as the car collided immediately with Stephanie Brown’s body, before dragging them with it as it went straight through the splintered remains of the Senate’s doors. And that would have been enough to kill most people, but as the television screen flared on, showing Monkeuma gleefully honking the car’s horn, a sudden determination flared up in the half-broken body of the Ultimate Highwaywoman.

Gripping with all her might onto the signature Rolls-Royce statuette on the car, Stephanie Brown pulled herself up onto the bonnet, and screaming with all her might, shoved her hands against the window. Monkeuma kept driving anyway, almost oblivious to the hand smashing through the glass, smashing through the bonnet, diving into the safety of the car…

…

…and also diving into the floor full of saw-blades that had been installed for this specific purpose. A spray of blood, and it was done. Stephanie Brown’s body fell to the side of the road, dead.

Monoluna looks up in surprise.

“…God damn, installing those sawblades wasn’t unnececary. I guess I just lost a bet, huh?”

She looks around for a moment, then snaps her fingers.

“Ah! Right. For making it so far in this Ultimate Hunt, I think you all deserve a reward. Firstly…”

A black eyepatch with a small red line down the middle materialises on Arctic’s face, covering his eye wound.

“Seeeecondly, I think it’s about time you all knew roughly what you’re all capable of. Without further ado… the Feybrook Class of 20XX Class Roster!”
