Then, Monoluna flicked her wrist, and out from her pelt-sleeve came a long, glowing green thread, which quickly wrapped itself around the Ultimate Historian’s neck and dragged her away… through a wall, and into what looked like an ancient Roman building.

A car burst through the doors of the Senate, with Monkeuma looking out of the window, screaming incoherently as the car collided immediately with Stephanie Brown’s body, before dragging them with it as it went straight through the splintered remains of the Senate’s doors. And that would have been enough to kill most people, but as the television screen flared on, showing Monkeuma gleefully honking the car’s horn, a sudden determination flared up in the half-broken body of the Ultimate Highwaywoman.
