It fails if consumed within forty-eight hours of someone dying, which is why I said I planned to use it in the second half of the trial (which would be forty-eight hours after the kill).

(my defense is that “teleporting to the victims room” is way too obvious
i would have teleported into an already dead persons room if i picked a dorm, and probably somewhere gamerer if not
and also i never read the blood magic book but i cant prove that)
