also i just want to say that the magic in this game felt extremely well-implemented
it was immersive and enhanced the game to powerful levels without it ever really feeling unfair for murder solving
or at least
more unfair than any poison murder

drinking the poison is probably a loltrochi thing
but going to the obelisk at the start of ch3 for no reason and then refusing to tell light where you got it from is something else
