geyde’s DM’d me about possibly wanting to cohost
what’s your thoughts on that
I’m not intrinsically opposed to the idea but I’m a little worried that if we bring him on board he’ll try to enforce his fairly-specific vision for how Danganronpa games “should” work
but on the other hand if we bring him on board he’ll, like, notice the doubtless-present ways in which some role is completely overpowered
hm
well, there’s probably some blatant flaw in the roles that i’m not seeing
we could just invite him here right now and go from there?
sure
like I said I’m not intrinsically opposed
oh! for the 3-5-wincon wildcard, I’m not sure if we formally figured out what Counts as a mistrial/not a mistrial (for the participants)
my intuition is that if the Mastermind gets it right and the Participants don’t, it counts as a mistrial, if the Participants get it right it’s not a mistrial, and if no one gets it right it’s not a mistrial, does that match up with your intuition? although that runs into issues with them fullclaiming to someone who’s been cleared as not-the-Mastermind and using that to strongarm a mistrial
sorry if this is on the card, I’m lazy
I actually did put this on the card, but to summarise:
- Mastermind Correct, Participants Incorrect - Mistrial
- Mastermind Correct, Participants Correct - Successful Trial
- Mastermind Incorrect, Participants Correct - Successful Trial
- Mastermind Incorrect, Participants Incorrect- - Successful Trial
In other words, the Mastermind has to figure out who did it, more than anybody else.
hm
we could solve this by just slapping an anticlaim clause on it
like “if you claim that this is your win condition, the Mastermind while learn who you are”
sure, that works
it’s not a straight up “You lose lmao”, it just becomes way harder, because you then have to make a situation where there are two blackeneds in order to win, which is quite hard to cover up.
welcome to my lair of poorly organised notes
i think there are some things that need to be sorted out, and you’re probably the best person for figuring out why one thing i thought was a funny idea was dumb so
oh also, Mist has requested to rand only female characters
there’s no particular reason why I can’t just change a male character’s gender if she rands them, right?
it makes things sort of weird with specifically King Arthur since that’s an actual historical figure
but otherwise that should be fine
i think she’ll understand if she rands that one in particular
hey so I just counted and I think we only have 14 roles
am I dumb
- Arthur Townsend, Ultimate Astrologer
- Susannah Redbrooke, Ultimate Necromancer
