And Esooa not checking, outside of OOG reasons, could imply she didn’t actually care who Aelin was shooting. Otherwise, there would’ve been a debate in that chat, and suggestions.
Her claiming she would’ve backread, but couldn’t, feels like a copout to deny responsibility, because town would 100% ask her who Aelin shot - and she wouldn’t want to answer.

there’s a chance the cult chat isn’t open 24/7, did esooa hint at this at all?
because if the chat was locked during the night and aelin couldn’t write, but then she died at SoD and esooa got thrown out of the chat, there was nothing to check in the first place.

the way I explained it to mist was basically “I’m a bit skeptical but realistically it’s probably just paranoia because he literally refuses to ever call me anything remotely resembling town without an added question mark - so he’s in that zone where like if we get down to F7 I’d re-evaluate but he’s probably just town because this game is probably just easy”

I pocketed Aelin to hell if scum. She outed her role to me. She said I was never mafia with how I played. You think I take this, and I don’t influence a desperado shot? Past this, maybe consider the fact nights are 12 hours and I am both not invested in this game and, as a person, sleep?
But then, if the chat was day only, Aelin surely would’ve telegraphed her target in that chat, wouldn’t she? And, again, Esooa would’ve had more than enough time to check during the night.
In fact, that would make Esooa’s claim even more dubious, because then she would’ve had two phases to verify who Aelin was going to target - the day phase, and the night phase.
