Feedback standardization

Could legit be for anything.

Thatā€™s a bit TOO standardized

Like obviously Iā€™m trying to combine similar feedbacks into each other for consistency, but there is a limit where that stops actually helping.

This seems rather arbitrary. Like I understand not showing more than one feedback of the same type, because that is consistent with whatā€™s shown to players who get healed. But this is over the top and additionally prone to cause confusion since you will now have to learn what fits in what category. Itā€™s like learning class types all over again.

What do you mean?

All of these things mean the same thing for every class that can receive the feedback.

Classes where they donā€™t apply are receiving different feedback still.

DNR always just means your ability wasnā€™t applicable.

Saved from death always means the target was going to die and thanks to you didnā€™t.

Survived always means that the target obviously hasnā€™t flipped.

Itā€™s arbitrary in the sense that you could push the vagueness even further, where it only shows ā€œgood visitā€, ā€œevil visitā€, or ā€œundetermined visitā€ based on the faction of the visitor, and itā€™s not clear exactly why one should stop where you did

you could even just say ā€œvisitedā€ or ā€œnot visitedā€ lol

Excuse me? This post isnā€™t primarily about the Noble if thatā€™s what you are talking about. The effects this has on him is (while not problematic really) not the reason why I posted this in the first place.

More just me wondering why there are so many different messages that mean the exact same thing and saying that it should just be one standardized message for consistency.

This doesnā€™t change how Investigators get feedback, this doesnā€™t change offensive classes, itā€™s not even THAT big a deal for the Noble, he still knows that whoever produced the result is good and still gets investigative results ect as normal.
