well what happened is I included it as a joke mechanic in UltimatePick
then it was an event that marl caused in Carnival
then I gave Dama a post restriction that forced him to use poetry, and indirectly, haikus
and now there is LITERALLY A CHARACTER WHO COMPOSES HAIKUS in the game

the urge was too strong to resist
