I don’t really think FK will flip Mafia here at all and I kind of feel like Livi is trying to start a mass-claim, which in closed setups, unlike in open ones, more often than not helps Mafia rather than town. He originally tried to get Maximus to claim and before he quickly edited one of his replies to me it seems like he’s was way too interesting in getting claims. This alone isn’t that bad of a scum indicator but…
There is no reason why Livicus would need a protective on him for the first night. You typically should be asking for protection d1 if you either:
- Are a common target for n1 nightkills due to being recognized as a strong town player.
- An outed strong power role, which does not apply to you as you’re not outed.
- Has been actively scum-hunting d1, which you have not. At all.
Additionally, this doesn’t really read as if it came from a town member.
This just either feels like an excuse not to scum-hunt, really.

Additionally, scum may have a Circle of Death-like ability and I don’t feel as if Livi is trustworthy enough ATM of for us to risk our protective roles on him as this could be an attempt to bait them out and get them killed.
