How would I go about earning trust when I don’t have any way to confirm my role?
If Math is scum he picked the right target to tunnel. I will admit that I probably do look scummy as hell, but I am not scum. I protect people and I have protected the people who trusted people have asked.
By hunting. Mechanics only prove mechanics.
The goal of village isn’t to be trusted or townread it is to hunt scum. Do that and you’ll be trusted. You’re just not atm.
I did do a scum hunt and most of my more scummy findings are either dead, will be dead by poison, or are so silent that I don’t have enough to read them.
I want to give you a chance Math, I really do. I never said you were 100% scum.

Then give me a reason to quit scumreading you. Work in your PoE find the most likely scum and validate theories. You’re my most likely scum atm. Unless someone shows how you’re town or that someone else is more likely scum then I don’t trust you.
I at least want the chance to confirm myself and as far as the scum reads goes I would say cheesy, but my gut says he might be village. Personally, I would go after the more silent ones for now and apply a little pressure to get them talking enough to get a read.
Most of the silent ones are also likely village though and we don’t have a ton of mislynches either. Dangit, this is why we need a investigative role.
Oh crap, this is bad, we have 15-16 people currently and 5-6 are expected to die from today and tonight. I expect the number of living players tomorrow to be around 7- 10 and if we don’t hit scum today it’s over. I assume we have waifus as well as the cosplayers. Today is make it or break it for the village, if too many mafias or towns die today and tonight we are screwed.
