that’s not what’s happening there
some people have less socially acceptable symptoms that were never solved by their parents
if you think that because [x] person cannot talk or physically cannot make eye contact that doesn’t mean they “had it worse”, it means their parents didn’t set up an alternate communication method, and continued angrily trying to make eye contact, associating eye contact with negative emotions beyond the fact that it’s disgusting
