I got him to shoot me. My passive allows me to survive any town kill and give me a dayvig (which is how i knew he shot me).
Since I received the “You got a dayvig” notification, I know marshal is town.
Also that means that his life was decided by a coinflip because my passive doesn’t STOP the attack, it just guarantees i don’t die
