I am saying that Student Council President is an anti-scum position as it creates association via the kill and who they elect. I am also saying that there are much better options to avoid this and also gain the only advantages it gives via another Student Council role.

People would already have support for being Town if they became another Student Council role.
All the President’s ‘advantages to scum’ cause assocation, whereas other things don’t or do it less.
You could have everything the President has and more being in another SC position.
Why would it be smart to make the soft obvious? He’d be nightkilled if he was targetting town.
He’d be left to die if he was targetting scum.
That gives us absolutely nothing, hence why the soft cannot be obvious.

And I am saying how SC President can literally sway the other way as scum. If the only factor is by association, then it won’t be hard to prove being a town in as President. All they have to do is make some very good points and execute a mafia or two and that will cement themselves as town for the rest of the game. That’s also not bringing into the fact that he may act with others, such as how SC as done yesterday with them organizing their own reaction test and exposing others mechanically. In fact, throughout all of this the ones who seem to have received the most criticism isn’t the SC President, but other roles of SC like treasurer and historian.
