This isn’t a read from a villager who wants another villa to survive.
He is trying to give himself space by defending a partner without having a reason

I read the entire first 2k posts and when I came back the thread was an entirely other thing

Everytime I came back to be updated, like 1 or 2 hours after, it had from 500 to 800 new messages and I honestly had no energy to keep reading that much. Most of the conversations I had a little difficult to get as well, as some involve “self metas” and other previous games that I really am not used to
I feel like it changed because the subject changed enough times for me to, as I said, not be able to keep up
The only thing I really could get from the discussions were the push from Solic to Merc, which I agreed
When asked why I didn’t have much of reading ability to add something on what he said other than a gutfeeling for knowing Merc very well
