Because it was a tunnel. Every little thing seemed wolfy to him.
Vulgard, what did you think of my posts?
I feel like I succeeded in being way less performative except for like 2-3 posts.
Which is why I think this is the point when you can realize you’re tunneling. When everything a person posts seems wolfy to you.
but you’re like
a top 3 villager on this site easily
why were my posts bad
what was bad about them
i dont evern nkow why they sucked i just know they sucked
a
I think you were obvious town, so you definitely succeeded on that front.
uh
- dybudabu
- alice
- vulgard
nevermind he’s in
why do you have vulgard on the list 3 times
@kat Your early posts have no direction. You’re doing several things which are completely disconnected from one another. A shitpost about Marshal there, a weaksauce push on Arete there, random questions to three random players… it doesn’t feel like you have any idea what you’re doing.
This isn’t always a wolfy trait, because wolves generally want to look like they are solving the game, but it feels more performative than useful. Especially since you’re doing that so early on in the ISO.
Also, Marshal, what did you think of my flavor?
also another dat appreciation post
we were obvious wolf to anyone who like… read my posts or kats posts
but dat like
posted a lot and did good
dat good
Dat is indeed best bird.
intimidating
seeing someone super confident on a wolfread on your slot to the point of shitposting is scary
Every single read here is a hedge. Again. It feels like you’re forcing yourself to make those reads.
At the end of the post, you express fear of moving your vote when there is no threat of anyone being yeeted because of it.
This is concern about appearances 101. Just move the damn vote. Why would Marshal care? He’s a villager too, right? Moving votes is normal.
A lot of what I’m saying is obviously in hindsight, but I’m pointing out what sticks out to me.
At the end of the post, you express fear of moving your vote when there is no threat of anyone being yeeted because of it.
And it also doesn’t make sense progression-wise. Your reads are all hedges, so it would make sense for you to pressure vote people. But you’re afraid of doing that as well? How do you intend to solve the game?
kat
Where you trying to figure out why Arete was reading you the way they were?

fwiw the push on arete was intentionally weak
i didn’t really care to fake a good one because i thought their logic that we were wolfy for not tunneling them 15 minutes in was absurd and i did actually think it was a RT/fake push
but i also kinda thought it was townier to just
have a meme one and appear to not care about my appearance
A lot of what I’m saying is obviously in hindsight, but I’m pointing out what sticks out to me.
i still appreciate it
a few of these things i noticed after posting them (being scared to move my vote is something i kind of always do tbh, but it felt really wrong in that post in particular)
Where you trying to figure out why Arete was reading you the way they did?
YES IT WAS WEIRD
MY CONFUSION THERE WAS 100% GENUINE
A
Maybe that was what felt different then?
Like, trying to figure out why they were doing it mainly instead of trying to figure out their alignment.
