I had a thought along that line
specifically that the way arete treated my slot was one that genuinely thought I was joat (and not just like picking up on the softs, actually thinking it) and I know they can buy claims from me even thought it’s me because FoL28
so unless someone convinced arete(/maybe ami?) that mode was joat over me, I think arete is clear from it.
Same thing for y’all/orange but you are also like our highest town so we didn’t think as much about it

because I agree that we were objectively the better stab knowing the softs i’ve done
but if those were missed I think the lazier/easier PR hunt stab is mode
That is not how it happened and you know it. I will say that if Kyo did flip scum I would suspect you less, but I think you are the wolf here tbqh
it is worrying that kyo had a ton of points on why mode was PR-y and why my stab made sense
he ended up saying it wasn’t even sus that he died
I feel like he felt that mode was actually the more joaty person even knowing my softs and so it makes me think he just stabbed him

Orangesulit/areteami both clearly saw the joatsofts
dat had some slightly worrying posts along the same line where he thought mode was the likelier PR
and derps/tbe fit the bill of “not really paying attention to find softs and see mode is generally PR-y”
This admittedly does nothing but stregthen my reads but I still think it’s valid
I want to clarify that there is likely a wolf in Kyo/Arete and I think either one flipping scum will clear the other unless one is doing some hard bussing, which doens’t make sense in this case
Personally I don’t think arete is ever w/w with either gorta or kyo becuase they were very clearly frustrated at the posting from both of them and I don’t think arete gets this subtly distressed over theatre
There are an abundance of other easy mislynches and LHF, like it would be easy to push on Derps/My slot or the Dat/Amelia slot, or TBE (unless any of these are scum)
