Derps would have to have the entire mafia pinpointed in his gutreads or have a town that isn’t going to ever be mislynchable in his mafia pile for it not to harm town
He’s just standing there as a vote for mafia if he’s town which he most likely isn’t. That is why Derps is always the lynch today unless he starts producing town AI content
I mean, I agree with giving no content is pretty useless
But at the same time 1/2 the job of being town is to show other people you’re town, getting out of the null zone is good, which I think Derps is doing.
It’d be dumb to lynch him if he’s being towny (which I think he is) just because he might do something -EV later. I’d rather him do the -EV thing and learn not to do it again than just policy lynch him because he might do it.
No, because they have logic and basis behind them that helps town. It actually helps solve the game.

Its D1 my best reads come from gut reads
My D1 play is almost always going to be me developing my gut reads then later going into D2 onwards developing them some more and looking into and making cases for my reads
If I start the make a case against anyone now I wont re-eval and will conf bias myself. Trust me, I understand my own play
