eh joat13 was quite a bad example because every time i was in thread it was active and live interactions were much more easy (which is where my so called aggression actually occurs, not in reads which i am unsure about)

i had a scumread on marl and appel individually but i thought their interactions were fine

but recently appel’s treatment of marl has become very weird
so i’d probably shoot there

this is the initial post which i thought was unlikely to occur if appel/marl were w/w, but after this it goes downhill

this read on marl seemed faked because she’s suggesting that marl being confident means he is a villager in spite of this being blatantly NAI for him
it was then followed by hedge later in the post and saying they would read marl by… how light responded to him? :joy_cat: ?

this could go either way
it could be awkwardness generated from the fact her partner is getting too close with them and they need to distance ASAP, which i feel is the more likely option

and apparently this was the entire basis for dropping marl lower into their reads… in fact, on the same tier as me

and then marl is back up again in their reads with another awkward post
their handling of the slot is extremely inconsistent and awkward

to me it just seems like she’s been struggling with how to handle the slot after her partner failed at distancing (marl has consistently given townreads on appel without much substance, the basis of which are mainly “vibes”)
