shurian has been a weird mix of enthusiastic and hedgy in a way i find difficult to describe
even though this strikes me as weird i feel like the chance that this aggressiveness came from wolf!shurian is extremely low
baiting out more content from derps, if that was the intention, is clearly something aimed to get the discussion going so it’s >rand v
does anyone know if shurian prefers to play as town or wolf?
i’m trying to establish if it’s worth looking at posts like this
i’m not convinced a wolf would have the confidence to make this aggressive stab at derps and it seems like genuine annoyance/concern at derps’ entrance
this bunch of L1 reads with no explanation reminds me of when shurian did the same thing in sfol65 where they were a wolf
the tone here is slightly different(?) but it’s something to keep in mind
i’d expect something with a little more substance at that point
f
this is Something
i actually don’t know what to say about this but it’s probably >rand villa as a wolf would try to get cred by… actually softing rather than whatever the hell this is
i went into this ISO thinking shurian was being weird in a wolfy way but it’s actually looking more like weird town
@Shurian i don’t really understand this, especially since to me it seems like min is being more self-conscious
i wouldn’t put it past wolf!shurian to say this after sfol65 where i joked about his teammates speaking with him or something along those lines and he continued it so i can’t say that this really does anything
min/shurian not w/w?
it’s still a fairly weird interaction but i’m not sure min would have the confidence to do this as scum
shurian is showing a lot of concern for how others are reading them
which was just after marl TR’ed them, so this is actually probably >rand town
shurian’s weirdness seems more towny than wolfy so i’m placing this at a townlean for now
i’m also just realising now that his tone kind of reminds me of joat13 where he was town
My original read was purely based on vibes because I wasn’t in a mood to engage so seriously when I had just woken up. After looking at Marl’s ISO a bit, I stand by my original read
The first thing he did was start pushing Light, and combined with the confidence they had, I’d say it comes from a town perspective. I feel like a wolf wouldn’t want to draw attention to themselves by tunneling on one person in that manner, especially in this set-up where there’s a vig that can just yeet the pusher if Light were to flip V. It really depends on how Marl handles Light’s slot as the day goes on, and how Light responds to it.
This is the only thing that I could find that kind of opposes this, as the tone of this reads as surprisingly hedgy, but all of his other posts are ~fine
And for @Jane, I’m not as sold on illumin as everyone else seems to be, I don’t find their posts particularly towny. The only thing I agree with them on is their take on Gorta, but I’m just waiting for him to dig his own grave and dunk on him when the time is right~
Also, I actively dislike the way they’re trying to tell other people what to think; these are both about Shurian, and the former was actually before she started scumreading him which is very bleh
