[FM] Lord of the Rings Forum Mafia - (7/25) - Completed - Mafia Wins!

Am I a good player? Obviously not

…Scum is literally the word we have for ‘not town.’ Technically it gets a little more complicated with neuts but I’ve seen no evidence that this set-up even has neuts.

Wait, really? For some reason I thought this was like your second game.

Going to have to think about how that affects my read.

I mean tbh my ability does sound hella neutral which does not help.

Second game on here perhaps

Tho to be clear, my ability may sound weird, my role is definitely town

Can you link me to a scum game of yours?

Hehehe, my very first game which I won. Yeah let me go get it.

when you go with straight classes, sure, someone not scum is town.

But with reads, there is a lot of grey area, and someone can be a nullread, a slight lean, a lean, and everything in between.

If there is a scale of 1-9, 1 being locktown and 9 being lockscum. Just because someone isn’t 6-9, does not mean they are 1-2

But if someone is playing in a way that scum would never play, or that they would never play as scum, then that basically confirms them as town even if they aren’t doing anything particularly townie.

I agree. Set and ginger are not 6-9 (but maybe in my fantasy they are :smirk:)
But I would not put either of them as a 1-2 either

Wut

you are not 69

i’m not sure i understand what y’all are talking about
how is this relevant to the state of the game

should join game on that forum

Do it or no balls

How do I Iso someone on that forum?

Alright, people don’t seem to understand wtf i’m saying, but here it goes.

Let’s say i make a ranking system, that goes like this.

Locktown
Very likely Town
probably town
slight townlean
Nullread
sliight scumlean
probably scum
very likely scum
Lockscum

Arete is saying that Ginger and set are not:
probably scum
very likely scum
Lockscum

I agree.

But arete is implying that ginger and set are:
Locktown
Very likely Town

However, that ignores everything else in between. and the in-between is where we get things.

I would put ginger as:
probably town

and set as:
slight townlean.

But the way arete is doing this is heavily misguided.
I’m off, and will be at my school’s homecoming dance for the next like 6-7 hours, and will not be on at all or on very tentatively
