I have taken this stance all game it isnt because I ‘dont know’ why you wanna vote me i know full well that i come across scum enough to be read as null.

People who are pretty much cleared: Vul (greenchecked + strong townread), Hja (easy metaread + masons), Hippo (masons + knew he was occupied on a night when mafia were occ immune), STB (newbie meta), Andrej (spewed green by Dat’s flip), Derps (spewed green by Dat’s flip)
People who could be scum (basically, this category is for people I have a reason to townread, but who I’m not willing to treat as conftown): Kitten (I was townreading them D1 but they’ve been getting progressively less townie), Maxi (I was scumreading him D1 but he’s been getting progressively townier), Marshal (alignment is mechanically tied to Kitten’s D1 alignment), Ginger (was a townread D1 but some of his reactions have been kind of scummy, but he does appear to have healed Derps)
PoE: Blue, Simon, Squid
Blue: He’s been non-stop lying and contradicting himself all game, in ways that as I’ve already explained don’t make sense from a town motivation. Even his random statements contradict himself, like when he said he was scumreading Alice before replacing in but also acted surprised that people thought his slot was important – like, if you’re paying enough attention to be scumreading Alice, you should be paying enough attention to know she has an important slot. Alice’s play was also scummy as heck, like she basically spent the entire game pushing on LHF and OMGUSing, and Blue vanishes from the thread whenever someone pushes him. The wagonomics with Ici basically seal the deal.
Simon: Simon’s honestly been … underwhelming? Like, I can’t really point to anything in particular that he’s done, all game, and it’s not for lack of activity it’s just for lack of doing anything notable. FK has some sort of “3D chess” argument about him but frankly I’m not following it.
Squid: Not really liking her Iso at all, I’ve seen very little solviness from her and her vote on Dat after he flavorclaimed reeks of scum trying to get towncred by being on a wagon at a point when the wagon no longer matters. She hasn’t really contributed much of anything to the game apart from random defensiveness.

nothing about scum’s play here makes sense and I don’t know what to make of that, all I can think of is that the ‘scum is entirely newbies’ theory is somehow correct but that feels too easy.
Arete finally gave us a wall to look At and make associations when they flip scum!
