Yeah I’m pretty sure if Kai wanted to distance from Derps, he wouldn’t call Derps a lost wolf, it was just Kai perspective slipping.
So these are Kai’s reads/pushes on living players, he had a couple of pushes on PKR/Magnus but at this point we can be confident that both of them are town.
From this alone I’m inclined to read this as a push on a villager and not W/W theater, given how he was pushing PKR and Magnus earlier (but see below) – the tone of it feels to me more like ‘scum who sees an opportunity’ rather than ‘distancing.’
This one on the other hand makes me thing Derps is likely to be scum with Kai, he votes Derps but doesn’t give any reasons for it, just puts a vote there. Given Kai’s flip it feels like a weak attempt at distancing, since he pretty much doesn’t follow it up with any real push.
Including this because it seems like potential TMI that scum don’t have a bleeder, which suggests that Derps was likely bled by town.
And here’s what’s making me doubt the Kai-spews-Boss-as-town read, he moved Boss into a slight townlean for no clear reason and he’s taking no stance on him at all, which is a common scum distancing tactic among people who don’t want to go all the way into actually pushing their scumbuddy.
The Solic read here to me feels more like shadethrowing on a town based on how Kai talks about how he doesn’t like Solic but keeps him as still a townread, like he wants to put shade on a suspicious villager in the hopes of getting him lynched while still having ‘but I was townreading him’ to fall back on.
No clue what this says about Alice but this spews Vul as town in my opinion, if Vul were scum Kai wouldn’t want to let the self-resolution happen because it would semi-confirm Alice town and kill Vul, which is basically the worst outcome from a scum PoV in the world where Alice is town and Vul is scum.
tl;dr So overall I think at least one of Boss/Derps is scum from Kai’s weird non-pushes on them, unlikely to be two because I don’t think he’d push two teammates in the same day without pushing much of anyone else. Solic is likely town from the specific way Kai throws shade on him and Vul is spewed town from Kai’s acceptance of the nightplan.
