Re: latest discussion, one thing we really need to keep in mind about hammer is that mafia can claim their hammering passive literally unfalsifiably as long as they’re careful not to hammer any of their scumteam, like, this isn’t just ‘they can claim it and we don’t know if they’re telling the truth,’ I mean that even after they hammer, if they hammer a townsperson, they can just say ‘oh, well, the reason my hammer didn’t activate is that the lynch was on a townie.’
The best use of the hammer is to give it to a consensus townread who has a decent hammering passive (ideally we don’t even have them claim it), then have them shoot in an agreed-upon pool of suspects. I’d suggest Kitten is a good choice for hammerer, I townread them and I don’t think they’re likely to go for the -EV hero-vig outside the agreed-upon pool. I forget if they’ve said anything about what their hammering passive actually is.
