Yes, I actually did gain one key read in which that you acknowledge the scumminess of tele’s vote-flipping, and not just the fact that they town read you.
This makes me think that tele could be white-knighting you with you as town and tele as scum, but also makes me think that you could be doing slight distancing from tele as well.
Either way, this answer paints tele poorly, which gave me some info.

Almost all of Solic’s direct reads/shade on Kai from that post are either blatant misreading of Kai’s posts or one-liner questions based on those bad interpretations. It doesn’t matter if the general push is correct (as a scum Solic would know the right answer anyway) if the evidence is purposefully garbage. If Solic is such a veteran with a golden town meta I’m sure they can do a better job of reading than what they did with Kai’s ISO.
As I said earlier I made a mistake with ‘Kai’s criticism’, should be ‘Solic’s criticism’.
Can you elaborate on your read of the interactions? I’m not getting it, and I don’t see it any other way due to how low-effort that interaction and the rest of their few interactions were.
I’d also like to address some of the suspicions about me not being a newb.
This is my first forum mafia game ever. I have played a fair bit of Subterfuge, which is heavy on social manipulation but not in the same way that FM is. That’s it.
So this is one of the big posts from Kai’s Iso that I was using to analyze his spew earlier, basically from a wolf perspective this is significantly more likely to be a read on a townsperson than a wolf (though either way it’s hedgy as heck). Basically, it looks to me more like he’s trying to scumread a villager by saying that he finds Solic odd but then covering for it by saying that he’s still towny in other ways, like the town here is more of a wolf throwing shade on a town than a wolf distancing. If he were distancing from Solic I’d expect him to distance harder, to be quite honest, the ‘a lot of his stuff is towny’ caveat makes it look like he’s expecting Solic to flip town and wants to avoid getting scumread when he does.
I must’ve misunderstood. I like that plan.

Feels like we have a disagreement over interpretation here. I see Kai as giving Solic a setup so Solic, originally appearing a little scummy, can come swooping in with a correct read later on and be cleared. Additionally, Kai started being more suspected immediately after this post due to both it and previous posts, so associating/agreeing with Kai started to be seen as a little scummy which further insulates Solic from scumreads. Keeping in line with the rest of my conclusions I’d say this was part of a deliberate, longer-term plan.
I gotta go for an hour and a half, so responses will be delayed again.
How would you expect Solic’s play to have been different in the case where he’s a townie with a legitimate scumread on Kai?
I might reply to your wall the next day, no time atm. Who are my scumbuds? Do you have reads on other people? What other “forced” reads do I have and why do you disagree with them?
Tunneling players can easily be done as a new scum. I did so in my second scum game here at least. They just need to scumread everything they say and not leave any associations with anyone else. In this case they are also not going to get any backlash for it and just look “solvey”, since it’s clear that I won’t be flipped today aka, vanity wagon. It’s not as easy a path as just plain lurking, but it’s definitely not so difficult that it cannot be done.
In addition, Set is not trying to get any players to actually lynch me, but just interacts with me telling me how I am so scum or justifying his own read to others.
