Given that Nerbins was the self-pres wagon for Priestess, we think its town.
Looking at the vote count, we believe the Priestess wagon is completely pure and instead the scum votes are distributed on other wagons: 2 Members of the Mafia on Nerbins (PKRiestess and either Jake or Maxwell). This does not discount the fact that there could be three scum on Nerbinsā wagons, but we definitely think there is at least 1 other scum on that wagon. This is a really bad look for Jake and Maxwell. Astand had progression on Nerbins, and sure Jake did too, except Jake posted about 8 hours into day 1 and parked his vote on Nerbins for about 40 hours of the day: he also never posted after the ISOs of everyone. Jakeās progression on Nerbins is also very shallow, given that he only picked up on three of Nerbinsā posts, 8 hours into day 1.
Now lets look at the early readlists of our Mafia!PKRiestess:

Bold is people on the Priestess wagon. Green is people we think are town on the list, orange is people who can be scum and red is people we think are scum.
Mainly we were looking at this and put who we think is town, and who we think is scum in red. Given he has three top townreads, we believe the rule of three applies here and that since Arete was cleared by Priestess (will elaborate later in this post), we think Merc has a very good chance of flipping scum from associations with PKR alone.
An interesting note with this post is that Maxwell is completely left out. This might suggest that Maxwell is town because I donāt think PKR forgets that one of his scummates exist, but this is a weak read and by no way clears him.
Now for Priestessā readlist.
Her read on Nerbins clears him completely in my mind, not only was he the wagon that Priestess chose to shift to (indicating that at least one scum told them to because their vote was on that wagon and it had a chance to be lynched), but Priestess straight up shades him instantly. I do think Nerbins was the mafiaās day 1 mislynch choice beside Marshal.
Priestess is also very defensive/angry at Simon for scumreading PKR, a level of anger which she only shows towards myself and Marshal this game. I think this clears Simon as town.
She did the same thing to Shurian as she did for us āwait for intentions and associationsā so Shurians slot is probably town
Wondering if Priestess has a tendency to townread her scumbuds because Firekitten and Mercenary are townreads for her. (Our scumreads on these two will be elaborated on later in this post). Additionally, Merc is townread by both of them. Maxwell is a null in this list, so she doesnāt forget Maxwell.
She hedges pretty hard on Derps: so its probably town.
Vulgard/Squid gets a very weird interaction here, but I do think this spews them as town, alongside our townread of them, as asking questions of townies as scum is a good way to seem like youāre actually contributing to the thread.
Doesnāt actually make a read on Jake just encourages him, which could be scum encouraging their scumbuddy to get into thread and help them. However, wouldnāt Priestess just say this in scumchat? Overall, Iām not sure how Priestess spews Jake, but Jake has been individually scummy himself.

Now its time to look at our scumreads. Weāll start with Jake.
This is the entire extent of his progression on Nerbins, the obvious scum counter-wagon. Considering Jake made the argument that he scumread Nerbins more based on the number of posts he had rather than the evidence against him but acted like the number of posts Nerbins had was the amount of evidence against him as seen here:
This feels really agendery, and its seems to me like Jake told Priestess to park their vote on Nerbins because there was a chance, given astandās scumread of Nerbins, the wagons would go to rand or Nerbins would be lynched over Priestess.
He also has an extremely weak reason to townread PKRiestess pretty hard. Given Jake hardbuddies his teammates as scum (See SFoL 00 and SFoL 53) I think this slot is scum based on associations.
Also to note he softs Jailor, which is a completely NAI class and he acts like this should clear him (just like PKR hmmmmm):

Next on to Firekitten/Katze.
Not only did Priestess townread this slot their EoD actions were pretty damning.
Katze clearly shows that they scumread Priestess, and were online and posing while I was proposing the CFD so they had ample opportunity to change their vote. But, as seen in the vote count, their vote stays parked on Arete.

Katze also soft defends PKRiestess by drawing attention to their claim which PKR was using to get the wagon off of himself. Firekitten is also buddying pretty hard with Merc today, which is something I noted since their reads are similar.
If you jump to this quote in context, you can see Mercenary, and Firekitten, ganging up on Marshal to tell him his reads are bad. Guess who else did that to us this game? Priestess.
Mercenary and Firekitten are ganging up on Marshal to discredit him.
I find the buddying particularly scummy because need to make big plays now that associations are in play and therefore, these two making Marshal effectively useless help them (if he falls for it).
Therefore, Firekitten/Katze also have a very high chance of flipping scum today from our PoV.
Finally we have Mercenary.
Mercenary has spent the entirety of today, and yesterday, pushing an agenda in our opinion, and even though weāre a bit confused on them, we taking the approach āif in doubt, lynch itā because of Priestessā hard townread of her. I havenāt gone through her entire ISO (making this post has taken long enough) but the following posts are extremely bad.
Mercenary did these exact pre-flip associations and chain-mislynch setting up in JOAT9 as scum. As we called out Priestess for yesterday for bringing the thread back to Marshal v Jgoes for two mislynches, this is particularly condemning.
Not once does Mercenary consider Jgoes may be town, this is textbook agenda pushing.
The fact that we disagree with most of her scumreads is also pretty polarising, and makes us think shes faking her reads. If she was town, we believe she would be on a much more similar wavelength than us, rather than having a PoE of almost everyone we townread besides Jake and Maxwell.
Additionally, Geyde pointed out that her saying there is at least one scum in her PoE is a perspective slip. She knows there is one scum in there. Generally PoEs are at least 65% scum but she thinks there is only around one in there. That is really bad and allows her to backtrack on her reads in the future.
Notice how she says āshould beā which allows her to backtrack on this PoE if the need arises by saying she wasnāt sure.
Building on from the previous point, Geyde noted that Merc has been stopping as many people from being cleared as she possibly can, whilst also pushing a gigantic PoE of townie people.
They also refused to take part in the Marshal vs Priestess, and amazingly, Priestess happens to flip scum. Additionally, her refusal to look back and reevaluate her reads besides DatBird suggests a rigid mindset indicative of a member of the mafia.
Lots of IIoA here, and attempts to stop townclears. Merc is doing everything she absolutely can to appear to be contributing when she actually isnāt. (Take asking me to explain on Arete for example, she doesnāt do anything herself and makes me do all the work).
Now lets examine her progression:

First Merc completely forgots to put Priestess in her readlist, and then suddenly sheās at the same level of townread as us! Isnāt that convenient? I donāt really see any progression for this TR on Priestess either, Merc pretty much ignores Priestess the entire day and then townreads her. Furthermore, Merc never gives a reason for the townread on priestess either, and only picks up on one very scummy post from Priestess (the dishonest one). Her lack of progression is striking given the thread presence she has.
Despite townreading us, she definitely likes to throw shade on us when we started pushing on Priestess. This is what is called a chainsaw defence, trying to discredit us by bringing up possibly bad actions weāve done in the past. Her thought process is inconsistent with her reads, indicating sheās reaching the conclusions and then making/finding the reasons.
And then a big fat hedge to conclude the entire chainsaw on us, completely absolving herself of any actual responsibility to make a conclusion on ourselves.
She also conveniently ignores Geydeās push on her, so she doesnāt have to defend herself.
Overall, we believe Merc is really likely to flip scum due to her constant agenda pushing and associations from PKRiestess.
Overall, where Geyde and I are at in terms of reads is as follows (in no particular order):
Town or Townlean: Arete/Disquieted, Nerbins, Marshal, Vulgard/Squid, Simon, Derps, astand, Kai, Maximus
Null (So PoE): DatBird, Shurian (this is a townleanish tho)
Scum: Mercenary, Jake, Firekitten/katze, Maxwell
That leaves 3 or 4 scum in a PoE of DatBird/Shurian/Mercenary/Jake/Firekitten+Katze/Maxwell.

Luxy if you are going to make a case at least try to see the person you are casing point of view before you list it as scummy, your point effectively is that we are trying to discredit him when we are in fact trying to point out that his reasons are garbage and that be needs to start thinking through hai reasons logically.
You and I both know that his reasons are garbage if you actually read his posts, but I highly doubt you are going to say that because if doesnāt fit with your case now does it?
Not only that Iām a control freak as scum, if anyone has ever played scum with me they know I want everything to go perfect. I wouldnāt have went to sleep before end of days because I wouldnāt have trusted Katnze alone there if I was scum with them.
Anyone who has played scum with me can confirm this statement 100%.
