[FM] Mafia Academy 1 - Mafia Victory

Because I don’t have much to say at this point. I already said what I wanted to say and I can only hope that everyone makes the right decision. Also, I’m dealing with a personal issue, so at least I made myself present for something else

Something I REALLY like on this setting tho is that a clan isn’t like a fantasy race stereotype you usually go against but the ideal purpose of your live.

Doubt that’ll happen, since I’m on the chopping block.

But okay, I guess that’s fair. Not sure why you felt the need to mention your post cap if you didn’t have much to say, though.

Yes that’s from the DM book because I’ll DM it soon :tm:
Sometimes the book stop talking about the setting simply to compare western to eastern media cultures and I love it

I don’t remember who this woman is but she is a Daidoji
iirc she is the one with an arc against her brother

Since the Crane clan is widely a social clan but someone still has to defend it anyway, the Daidoji is the only militar force they have (on non-ronin samurai, at least).
And they have a really nice aesthetic because it is the Doji aesthetic but WITH A KATANA. You can’t deny that.
Important to differ here since she notably has two scabbards is that every samurai (actually every bushi samurai which is most of them) wears a set two scabbards - a katana (fight blade) and a wakizashi (cerimonial shorter blade).
and you know seppuku?
you seppuku with the wakizashi.

I’m a samurai weeb and FK told me I could bring it up to him. uwu

weebs out

it is samurai pseudoculture but not weeb culture
that’s different
it is respectable samurai fauxculture.

L5R is very anti anime that the book has a section specifically on how to make it anime if you want an anime game
basically buffing the resistance of the character (L5R characters are glass cannons because samurai irl died pretty fast too), giving them powerful artifacts earlier and reducing the loss of honor for displaying emotion in public (yes, samurai have to be stoic), and also by giving romantic stories happy endings (one of the pillars of L5R is that romance = tragedy most of the cases since a samurai’s heart should be full of loyalty to his daimyo only).

Your samurai rant is nice and all
But Sekiro looks cooler cuz there’s less condensed words and there’s still samurai stuff
I’m gonna die tonight aren’t I

Alright, Disquieted and I discussed it and we agree that Merc is basically just openwolving at this point. {Firekitten/Katze} should still be lynched first, because there’s a redcheck on them in addition to reads-based reasons for scumreading them.

Also, {Litten/Katze} and Merc are pretty much always the same alignment here, since if Merc were W and that slot were V Merc would be pushing the redchecked townie much harder.

May I ask why you’re willing to trust mechanics over reads?

Disagree, Mercenary not pushing us despite the fact that they said they scumread us is NAGL as it implies they know the red check is fake.

They didn’t even try reading our slot, because they gave up as soon as Astand claimed their “red check”.

doubtful.
again its the reads > mechanics thing. fool is established as a role which punishes players for making correct reads (which is controversial but the important bit is that im pretty sure that is eevee’s stance)

so yall are saying that either astand is green and lying or red, but there is a third option. hes green, and he isnt lying, but firekatz are also green.
that is, he got an incorrect result. it goes along with the whole reads > mechanics thing.
thats what im thinking rn, ngl.

only have a couple posts left but im going to bed soonish and this closes about when i wake up

Role PM’s shouldn’t lie to you, unless this game is bastard. I don’t think in any world scum ever framed me last night, it doesn’t make sense to frame me compared to someone on the nerbins counter wagon.
