I think meta-reading is useful but it doesn’t give the entire picture, especially when players are experienced
I find it almost near pointless unless I trust the person doing it or it’s a brand new forum yes. So if you were reading me I would say the same.

like ie at least imo you aren’t going to catch a solid experienced player like i dunno alice marl or me off reads alone unless you know their meta

I mean if players are experienced they will do many different things as scum so that experience with them will have no bearing.
And I am known for being completely unable to be read by meta. There are less than 5 people who can. I am town pure and simple

Agreed for 95% of the players here, Math is undoubtedly a player who would have an elastic scum meta. So trying to get a meta-read on him using previous games will net very little about his alignment

because I’m really not badddd at FM when I try, like according to a fair amount of players I’m actually really good when I do try and I can tell you with a pretty high degree of certainly everyone has a meta, towntells, and scumtells - whether they switch up their strategies or not
like sure they may not go fully luxy and play the exact same as scum every game but

I know exactly how to play people. I haven’t had a scum scum scum game from the start this site but when I drew neutral killer I got townfirmed.
My all means meta me. If you find me to be 100% town or scum by meta I gradually shift them until they are the same
