Or how about this? I’m thinking of making the ability pool more of a competition between mafia and town, while neutrals have their own means to win the game.
BTW game will have mafia day chat, so they can organize better and avoid competing for the ability pool between themselves.
It’s more like a Chinese auction than poker. Sorry to be critical.
Critical taken
Get the shields out!
New rule, everyone gets 5 free tokens at the beginning of each day. This should hopefully make Loan not as OP.
Seems a bit much Maybe like two tokens would be fine
Might seem like much, but everyone is getting the same amount so it should be balanced (I hope).
BTW signups are open if you want to join. https://forum.imperium42.com/t/fm-poker-mafia-signups-open/60564
But then loan doesn’t do much Imo
It gives the GF 5 free tokens and players will have to save their tokens in order to pay their loan, which mean they’ll have less tokens to wager.
5 seems like a lot, 3 seems better but hey
Ok I changed it to 3 every day except day 1. People still start with 5 tokens d1
I named it poker mafia because I like to think of the ability pool like the cards in poker and people must choose abilities that will benefit them or deny the ones that would benefit their enemies.
…Besides chinese auction mafia doesn’t have the same ring to it.
Psycho. You should add your proposed classes here.
This looks really good, and the Loan Shark and Entertainer look really fun! By the way, when I suggested Debt Collector as a name, I was thinking of it being a really scary neutral killing class or neutral evil class. But this works as well!
Official Lore: The leprechaun became so rich after doing nothing, he decided to retire from gambling to buy a mansion in Ireland. He and his pet leprecorn were last seen investing in potato farms.
This is a picture of him from his last sighting, presumably trying to steal potatos:
Of course
I strongly dislike adding such a structured role list. It’s now no longer about the abilities you gain but what class you start as which takes away the whole usp of this.
