and then I self-reported anyway cause the thread blew up at me kek
I discussed this with Kyo in scumchat.
My stand remains: You can get nothing useful from those quotes.
We had a discussion about this
The conclusion we ended on was that the post number could be angleshot to learn the amount of posts in a rolecard and mafia would have lower posts bc they’d ask questions in mafia chat
it doesn’t really; it’s just that pretending to quote your class card is also in the rules as “cheating” since it could be interpreted as being real anyway. Both cases would be treated the same, so they can either consider all of them cheating or none of them cheating, and I guess they went with considering all of it cheating.
I am still arguing about that btw, because I simply didn’t ask any questions in my Role PM.
I still think it is BS.
It’s theoretically possible and therefore angleshootable.
Like how people used the ‘Last Seen’ feature on the forums to tell if someone was in scumchat.
Incredibly unreliable but it’s still possible.
The day has ended I think?
This is the only point I agree with on the entire thing. The act broke the rule, but the info is useless.
Yep it makes some sense
The dunce hat goes to ChopChop, not you (along with the VI hat, the regular idiot hat, and all the other hats)
If you wanna read me… here’s some advice: just townread me! <3
(Better yet, locktown me!)
it is, and there’s also that we got added to the mafia chat long before town got their cards lol
Yeah. We won by CFD’ing to Seth.
Yep mafia wins
Yes. The day ended 37 minutes ago.
What’s the use of using unreliable info source?
Zero. But people do it.
Someone actually correctly guessed someone was in scumchat with last seen feature. Which is why it was removed by Xblade.
So it’s technically possible to use post number.
Is there a last seen feature? O.O
Not anymore.
I was like
Lurking without fear
Bc I thought you guys wouldn’t be able to see whether I was online or not
