Fair enough.
I will happily take my part of the blame.
That terrible idea is coincidentally also the thing that somewhat saved your life from being yeeted D1. Though I can’t say the same for your lives N1.
Okay so apparently the only things that can prevent a Mafia RC is being Roleblocked or Jailkept.
[…] but i think not executing was the right move
I disagree. D1 is the only time when we have the highest odds of yeeting a Mafia through pure ~23.5% RNG. I don’t know about you, but I don’t see any (big) difference between D1 and D2.
Two notes from this game’s reviewer (i.e: Me)
-
Earlier today, we noticed a catastrophic flaw in the game- One of the setups, namely B1, decays in terms of scenarios at a significantly lower rate than the rest of the game, due to there being no investigative roles in the setup. We cannot divulge the exact numbers, but we have determined that the possibility of it being this one setup is far too high to risk- if it is confirmed to be B1, the game will be reduced to a series of blind lynches and nightkills. As a result, all instances of B1 will have a Motion Detector added to it.
-
eevee is currently in the process of writing a script that will make players’ previous Motion Detector results still be accurate by eliminating timelines where the results are incorrect.
Note that I do not take interfering with an open setup while it is in progress lightly, but it is my determination that the game would be almost entirely broken if the setup is allowed to continue as is. We have thoroughly considered alternatives, and to my mind, there are none.
Numbers will be updated shortly.
P.S: This is the sort of thing that we would likely have caught in review in a normal game, but did not due to the highly complex and unique nature of this game. I won’t pretend this is ideal, but sometimes we have no choice. Accept my apologies in advance.
Okay. That’s fine. Mechanics-wise, a lot happened behind the scenes, but… it’s not as if it will change anything yet for D2.
It only changes stuff for endgame, and I clearly pay more attention to the present than the future.
I think you might be on to something, except with other people

Like, a few others have gotten Maf RC results, but have not listed their percentages
Let’s just wait for our updated chances, please.
fair enough, but after that I think it’s a decent lead

Yeah, because it’s not as if everyone’s RC probability got “eaten” by someone else. There is also the possibility that the Column 2 worlds are collapsing more than the Column 1 worlds.
What the fuck are you all even talking about
This is like some JRPG lore bullshit about worlds being eaten and we need to go on a grand journey to find and stop the cause before our own world is consumed
Quantum World;Eater, soon to be adapted into an anime
