[FM] Quantum Mafia - Game Thread - Mafia Victory

Aye. Fair enough.

Mod note:

Not performing night actions.
ANY night actions is allowed.

That’s in case someone want to increase own chance of being certain PR in the end, due to not dropping scenarios associated with them being that PR.

But mind that in the end if you no action too much as certain PR and end as it… you will be several nights behind on results.

Strategy people, strategy.

inb4 we get an influx of people skipping actions to the point where night results are few and far between

Yeah, no. I am definitely going to waste my Cop shots.
I am not going to be a sitting duck for 48 hours every Day Phase.

I’m still using my % roles.

Btw, a good way to decrease the chances that you were a night kill is to submit the factional kill on whomever tried to factional kill you first.
The reason it works is because you can’t factional kill them in worlds where they’re mafia, as they’d either have killed you, or you’re their teammate. So by submitting a factional kill on them, you increase the odds that they’re town and therefore could not have killed you.

it’s basically OMGUS killing but with a bit more of an actual strategy behind it

This is the kind of ‘control the probabilities’ idea I was talking about.
I don’t know who attacked me.

I don’t get it.

If X attempted to kill Y, then both can’t be W/W.
There is no need for Y to kill X.
All it does is increase the death percentage of X.

One of them is me for sure.
I want all inactives dead, and you were the only one who was unfortunately not available in the first 24 hours of D1.

I am not the only one though, as evident by your 15% death compared to my everyone else’s 1~9% death. Two others must have attacked you as well.

Derps’ 1% death most likely came from me.
As for Wazza… I don’t know why, but 2 players must have attacked him.
Meanwhile, you should be attacked by 2 other players aside from me.

If X attempted to kill Y, then at most one of them is mafia, yes.
What Wind was saying was that by having Y attacking X, they have a lower chance of being mafia, more likely to be town and therefore, less likely to have killed you.
In hindsight, this doesn’t seem as clever as it seemed.

Actually scratch what I said.
We yeet me tomorrow not today.

Forgot about Even Night Vigilante and that it’s my highest percentage PR to flip.
So today we yeet within the 0% Killed POE and get the one with the lowest chance of Even Night Vigilante.

I suggest today we give a 5 Even-Night Vigilante shot list for going into the night.
I’ll start by picking someone for shot list and then that person picks someone until we have a total of 5.

I’ll pick myself AKA Chop Chop (we don’t have to considering I die tomorrow anyway but it’s just a suggestion)
Now next I Pick Leafia.
So Leafia and Me or Just Leafia is in the shot list so now Leafia chooses the next.

Actually it was Day 1 but now it’s my second highest as Voyeur for some reason passed it by just a bit. They like switched percentages during the night.

But still with that chance, it’s risky.

Because if I flip Even-Night Vigilante, Town essentially lost because we didn’t get a N2 with me alive.

Well not entirely lost but we hurt a fuckin lot

More specifically, both are possibly mafia, except X had just erased worlds where both were W/W.

And what I’m asking (to @WindwardAway) is: Where the fuck is the logic in that? All Y would do is kill Town!X in all worlds where Y is Mafia. It doesn’t collapse any worlds whatsoever.

…and your odds of being E Vig is?

I fail to see the purpose in this plan.

The Purpose is to avoid rando shot.

If you flip E Vig we wouldn’t lose. All it does is collapse about 50% of all possible setups.

WTF is the point of avoiding rando shot when literally everyone can still be Mafia?
Even Wazza -whose odds of being Mafia is nearly zero- can still be Mafia.
