eats some salt
That was aligned against us apparently.
The team displayed a lot of cohesion and worked out well.
I agree modifiers like that should be told to the player. Then if they get something other than naive a framer is at play. But other than that itās just a visitor
Actually I originally planned to check you. The dat thing was a fake out, hoping you would let me live.(I ended up checking kyo in the case that kyo and James were alive)
The mafiauniverse entry tell the cop not to be notified
But nobody on MU even uses cop sanities to balance cop checks anymore. Itās an outdated meta, and even then it was pretty niche. MU usually uses even/odd night modifiers to balance out the cop nowadays.
To be fair, itās not like Merc would have had any knowledge about it - theyāre going off of whatever is shown to them when they randomise.
So it kinda creates a weird meta where you know to be sane if you roll a modified cop, but if you roll cop itself you know that your chances of being a normal cop are slim
I donāt add them myself. āNaive copā is a different role than āCopā in the registry
Just donāt use cops with modified sanity next time you host, tbh.
MS wiki > MU imho
agreed but MU has more roles though
Itās not so much that the host would have known or its āintentionally badā. Itās just a standard on MS or other sites that sanities are known or āreasonableā lies are allowed and defined. This wouldnāt pass on MS.
ok no cop sanities next time(s)
I think itās more balanced that Cop doesnāt know their sanity.
Cop is just a very strong role that shouldnāt be rolled on a whim or be very measured against the other powerroles present (like itās better if frames/tailors exist) or make it x-shot. Bastard hidden modifiers are just not fun to play against or play with in my opinion.
All the neighbourizer roles in this game also gave away that the neighbour in question is town. The second part makes it immensely strong.
That makes cops useless, though.
