Marcus is considered really fishy by more than a few players and has quite a lot of fishy shit in their ISO. Namely their tonal between pushing me/rest of thread and odd associations with how they handled Blue.
It would be far easier for them to night kill you then dismantle the townblock during d2 due to this stuff in his ISO that could serve to make a push happen.

Math argues that it was demolishing the townblock was reason for the kill.
