I mean, the problem with Ritual Mafia’s balance in the first run of this game was that the actual structure of the game (It had a D1 Ritual) placed wolves on a back-foot where they were forced to defend their partners right out of the gate.

Perhaps this is some milder version of that?

i have decided that apprentice and marshal look worse in light of kyo’s flip
i read his entire iso and he seems way more decisive in his reads about people who i think are town
meanwhile when it comes to marshal and apprentice he kinda flip-flops on them, or calls them wolves but doesn’t really push all the way
marshal sorry you’re not a villager to me anymore

kyo hard pushes apprentice
but kyo also requests to be sacrificed and that would make him spew apprentice as v, making him dodge the lynch
i don’t really understand what his objective is here
i feel like distancing makes more sense given how he’s pushing hard to make sure he gets sacrificed here? also he didn’t vote apprentice day 1 and didn’t suspect him nearly as consistently as he did day 2

What I’m saying is that we can safely discount the whole “Kyo offers to die by Ritual” thing because he is incorporating the Ritual into his play almost automatically without thinking about the consequences? And therefore, we can just read his Apprentice spew as if this were a regular game.

kyo seems to flipflop on the stronger players
like marshal, he flipflops on him so often
and he handles arete like a wolf early then kinda forgets about them
but he’s really decisive about derps, apprentice, appel
for some bullshit reason calls napoleon and katze town out of the blue but
yeah no i don’t have an explanation lmao

Erratic wolves are hard to deal with because they’re easy to misread as v but it’s hard to read their spew, but their disadvantage is that they have basically no actual influence over anybody else’s reads.
