[FM] Ritual Mafia IV -- Day 4 (7/16) -- Heretics and Traitor Win!

So… what’s the story on Braixen?

Why did I say Braixen when I meant Napoleon? Was I really that tired an hour ago??

Okay, so I’m pretty sure that the converted was an offensive class or the Shaman used Soul Rip on Vulgard. There’s no way he should have died being that I healed him last night.

See my response. I was also on Vulgard last night.

So, if another sorcerer was converted then it has to be either Ici, Seth, both which I doubt, or Sulit or Arete. Arete here technically would be the optimal convert, but I’m focusing on reading App and re-doing Kyo’s backreads for now.

Seth/Ici/Braix here is 100% V for me.

Ideally I’d also look on their actions so I think sacrificing Seth here would be a very good choice as we’d be able to double lynch.

This… is a very bad idea.

KyoDaz had Cleanse, so unless an Offensive or Killer was converted then we’d be 100% giving the Heretics another convert.

…They are very unlikely to have another Cleanse user.

…we’re close to MyLo. We shouldn’t be talking about a possibility that may only happen if the wolves converted an offensive and we should start focusing on actual reads.

Seriously, this is going to end up as yet another town loss because the thread was flooded with mech talk. Again.

…why?

I still haven’t you cleared from a potential convert, so I’d rather someone else.

This… is probably the worst Rit we can do today.

…what?

Wait, Vulgard used CoF, didn’t he?

Wait, this actually makes sense if

Binding Spell (Night) - Prevent a player from performing their night action and make them appear as a class of your choice to investigators. If targeted by “Clairvoyance” they will appear to have visited whoever the Heretics attack tonight. - Unlimited uses

was used.

So this means that the convert is in Arete/Ici/Seth/Sulit/Apprentice.

Oh, nevermind.

It’s basically why I have no idea why Braixen is so insistent that Cleanse was used here.

Not really, the issue here is that wolves need to be killed ASAP otherwise they end up snowballing hard. The fact that we fucked up the only Ritual so far and both Lynches is one of the reason why the wolves are so far ahead.

Wazza claims he saw Vulgard visiting, so unless someone strongwilled him then this means if this isn’t an FPS that there is a wolf in either you or him.

Wait, we don’t have an Exorcist, so nobody can get strongwilled.

Wait, there is actually a way Wazza could still be a villager, although I do doubt it: Kyo chose Offensive on his Ritual of Sleep, making my action do nothing!
